A special auction for children at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31 (kids age 5 – 12, with an adult or responsible party present) Penny Power project is "water for crops" in India. MCC is assisting families by helping them develop irrigation systems such as wells, ponds, dams and canals. Fifteen dollars makes it possible to irrigate a half-acre plot where one family can raise enough food to last six months. Thirty dollars pays for the necessary labor and materials needed to bring clean drinking water to three families. For more information click on water for crops.
