Penny Power—Again this year, Penny Power funds will go to harvest clean water in Brazil. In northern Brazil, the dry season lasts eight months of the year so rain gutters and cisterns are needed to store safe water for drinking and cooking. $12 buys one bag of cement. (It takes about 10 bags to build one cistern.) $38 buys rain gutter material for one cistern. For more information click to visit MCC's website.
